Cultural standards heavily influence the individual's perception of what it means to be a man or a woman. This "gender trap", as Margot Anand and others have called it, compels a real man to always be in charge, act tough and never cry. If you happen to be a person born into a woman's body, you may feel obliged to be supportive, soft, and sexy at all times.
These one-dimensional attitudes and culturally determined responses are reflected in the ways that we make love and have led to an endemic disinterest and boredom in the "repetitive" nature of sex. Psychologists call this wide-spread syndrome Inhibited Sexual Desire.
Explore your freedom from these stereotypical roles in this dynamic evening program. As we use guided visualization combined with breath and movement, you will learn to expand your gender identity, recognize both male and female aspects of your personality, and express them in a safe and Loving Way.
